Billy Guthrie, from the firm, said:“The historic and charming Osnaburg Bar is the best local in town and is famous for its warm and friendly welcome – ghosts included.”
The pub was first established in 1835, but before then the building is believed to have been a weaver’s shop, playing a part in Forfar’s historical involvement in the textile industry.
Several workers have reported unexplainable activity at the bar while ghost groups and societies have visited the pub, with claims they found strong evidence of paranormal punters.

Bosses reckon the pub has the potential to be a thriving community local and is offering a discounted rent of just £75 per week for the first three months to help a new publican set up their business.
Billy added: “Someone who loves to play a vital role in their community and breathe new life into an area will relish running this pub.”
